Project overview

This project focused on reducing the client’s energy consumption without compromising production output. Our team audited existing equipment and processes to identify where energy was being wasted, then recommended and installed upgrades — from more efficient motors to smarter process scheduling — that cut usage while maintaining throughput. Every recommendation was evaluated for payback period, so improvements were prioritized by actual return on investment.

The work covered equipment efficiency, process scheduling, and energy monitoring. The client saw a meaningful reduction in energy costs within the first year, along with better visibility into where energy was being used across their operation.

Goals of the project

The primary goals were to lower energy consumption, reduce utility costs, and improve visibility into where energy was being used across production.

The problem

The client’s facility was consuming more energy than necessary, with limited visibility into which equipment or processes were driving the highest costs.

The solutions

We implemented a combination of equipment upgrades and process changes, prioritized by return on investment, to reduce energy use without affecting output.
